  2. VINYL - One vinyl set, simply the original LP remastered with the new artwork although it does come with a download code for the contents of the CD set. Try and get the vinyl reissue of Illmatic with the original cover if you want it on vinyl because the cover is a bit sh*t with it all orange and that, but if you want Illmatic on CD /5().

  3. Illmatic XX is a 2 disc, 20th anniversary special edition featuring new artwork, a 24 page booklet with new liner notes by Sacha Jenkins, artist tributes with rare & previously unseen photos. Disc 1, the original debut album, has been remastered from the original source tapes and disc 2 features 10 rare remixes, demos & freestyles from the era/5().

  4. Aug 22,  · Black vinyl. Sounds well, can't agree with comments on sibilance below. Also listened Halftime various times and compared it to Halftime on other Nas Illmatic (XX) records. Sounds similar as far as I'm concerned. Love the artwork on this edition too. You can pick it /5().

  7. The album Illmatic is arguably the greatest hop hop album of all time. Purchased this initially and found the intro track, as well as 'Memory Lane" on side 2, to be flawed/skip. Returned and the company quickly sent a replacement but the replacement vinyl /5(1).
